　　The Diploma is a unique （特殊的） qualification for people who have an interest in sector-related learning. It is intended to provide the essential knowledge and skills for people to operate confidently,effectively and independently in life and work. By following the curriculum （课程） program for a diploma, learners can develop the knowledge, skills and attributes expected by both future employers and higher education.　　Although popularization of higher education is currently presented as an obvious way to reduce social inequalities of opportunities in life,as the population of college students grows, a lot of graduates can not find jobs as easy as before. Some people name this phenomenon as the "depreciation of the diploma"　and blame the difficult employment situation to the education system. While, some experts suggest that it is not a depreciation of the diploma, but higher demands for labor with the development of society.
