内容概要

　　《外贸英语经典系列教材：西方报刊经贸文章选读（第4版）》入选的十九篇文章大都出自“名门”——西方各大著名报刊（详见目录），每一篇都是从十几篇到几十篇中反复考量遴选出来的，不但在内容上充分反映了时代的潮流而且文字上也突显出当代经贸报刊英语的特色。　　所选文章确能为读者提供大量有价值的信息和可资借鉴的观点与看法，但同时需要认真注意的是：这些文章出自西方报刊，西方世界的经济、政治、社会观点必然在其中得到大量的反映，在使用当中应注意以马克思主义的观点有批判地研究认识，使之“洋为中用”。

作者简介

　　史天陆，对外经济贸易大学教授。天津人，原籍河北玉田，毕业于北京对外贸易学院外语系英语翻译专业。　　曾任对外经济贸易大学商务英语教研室主任、外经贸应用英语研究所所长、政协北京市朝阳区委员会委员。　　1979年在联合国第五届贸易和发展大会任同声译员；1981—1982年美国旧金山大学麦克莱恩商学院访问学者；1988年加拿大圣玛丽大学讲座教授；1996—1997年日本东京经济大学客座教授。　　与本书相关的著作有：《西方报刊国际经贸文章选读》，1989年出版，经贸部教育局组织审定为全国外贸院校统一使用教材，1992年获经贸部优秀教材奖，至1999年先后发行8万9千册；《西方报刊经贸文章选读·跨世纪版》，1999年出版，至2007年发行9万7干册；《报刊经贸知识选读》，国家自学高考指定教科书，2000年出版，至2006年发行6万5千册；论文《西方报刊经贸文章的内容构成与语言特点》，1997年在日本东京经济大学发表。
