　　《英语听力基础》（Have More Listening）是一套系统训练英语听力的教程，它既可用于课堂教学也可作为课外泛听使用。全套教程共分两册，每册含30课。每课设有单项练习及整体理解练习部分。每15课后附一套综合测试题。每部分均可计分，学习者可根据得分检查其听力进展情况。　　本教程设计合理，其主要特点如下：　　1．紧扣“大学英语教学大纲”。覆盖大纲对听力要求的全部内容。　　2．符合大学英语听力教学实际，词汇与结构和目前在各高校使用的听力教材的共核部分相吻合。　　3．遵循听力训练的独特规律。注意单项听力技巧和整体理解能力的综合培养，使学生善于捕捉材料的整体意义和具体细节。　　4．在选材和练习编写上注意吸取国外教材的优点，材料均为英美原文。语言纯正，内容贴近生活，信息量大，生动有趣。练习形式新颖多样，有助于开发学习者的智力。

作者简介

　　李慧琴，女，华东师范大学英语教授。1942年9月出生于上海。1964年7月毕业于华东师范大学外语系英语专业。1982年获美国旧金山大学教育学硕士学位。1984年起从事听力教学与研究。先后发表“大学英语听力教师的职责”；“听力课与听力教程”；“听力课如何兼顾初步说的能力的培养”等论文。合作主编《大学英语听力》学生用书暨教师用书共六册；《中学英语听力》预备级，初一至高三学生用书暨教师用书共七册。编著《速而准听力教程》等。
