说课属一种课前行为，是课前准备的一项重要部分。它以教育教学理论和教材为依据，针对某个课时或某个单元的具体特点，由说课教师在有限的时间（一般为15～20分钟）向教学或教研人员口头陈述该深的具体教学设想及其理论依据。为帮助广大小学英语教师更好地进行说课，我们邀请了教有素养、学有研究的一线教师共同编写了这本《小学英语说课稿精选》一书。    为方便查阅，本书按年级和单元顺序编排，每单元精选了几篇优秀的说课稿。同时，为体现各地最新教研、教改方向和成果，我们在精选说课稿时力求同中求异、异中求精。“同中求异”就是在格式要求统一的情况之下不搞千篇一律，而是写出特色、写出风格、写出水平；“异中求精”就是精选一些优秀的说课稿，让这本书能真正成为教师们的参考书、工具书、实用书，这便是“同中求异、异中求精”的根本目的所在。
