　　随着改革开放的不断深入和中国加入WTO,我国的国际交往日益频繁，社会上对英语口语人才的需求越来越大。要求也越来越高。1999年11月。教育部批准正式在全国推行大学英语口语考试，是顺应了这一要求，也是对切实提高大学生英语口语能为起到了推动作用。本书的编写目的就是通过丰富多样的课堂训练。营造积极活跃的练习气氛。培养学生学习其语的兴趣爱好。尽快提高他们的英语口语交际能力。　　本书是编者们长期口语数学的积累，紧扣大学英语数学要求，针对大学英语大班数学的特点。在设计活动时尽量做到精练而细腻，灵活而不乱。部分活动已在数学中使用过，效果良好。　　在编写本书的过程中。我们阅读了大量的口语类书籍，得到了国内外许多同行的指点和帮助。在此，对所有关心、支持和帮助本书编写、出版的同仁表示由宏的感谢。由于编者水平有限，错漏之处在所难免。我们真心希望广大师生给予宝贵的意见和建议。从改进此书，我们将不胜感激。
