　　印第安文学是美国少数民族文学的重要组成部分，印第安作家的作品已成为美国文坛一道亮丽的风景线。波拉·甘·艾伦、莱斯利·马蒙·西尔科和路易丝·厄德里奇三位印第安女作家特别引人注目。本书研究的正是这三位女作家。 本书从后殖民批评理论的视角出发，结合女权主义理论对艾伦、西尔科和厄德里奇三位女作家的主要代表作进行了系统的研究和评析，指出她们小说中的人物在去殖民化的文化对抗中成功地运用了三种策略。

作者简介

　　刘玉，1973年8月出生，四川青神人。2005年7月在厦门大学获文学博士学应。西南大学外国语学院副教授，硕士生导师。2007年7月至2008年1月，受国家留学基金委资助，赴美国康奈尔大学访学，合作教授为Eric Cheyfitz。论文曾发表在《外国文学研究》、《外国文学》和《当代外国文学》等核心期刊上。主要研究兴趣是批评理论和美国女性文学。
