《高考英语听力模拟试题集》自2003年3月出版以来，由于题型新、内容佳、质量高满足了各校高三学生复习迎考的需要，深受广大师生的欢迎。每年高考结束后，为了使本书更好地为英语教学服务，上海译文出版社都要征询多所重点中学的师生在使用本书后的意见，并将意见反馈给我们。在此基础上，我们根据市教育考试院对今年高考英语听力的最新要求、命题思路、题型及评分标准，精心修订本书。本书在《高考英语听力模拟试题集——2006年最新题型》的基础上，每套试卷的第2篇短文内容改为时事新闻，内容涵盖政治、外交、军事、经济、科技、体育等各个领域，以满足2006年高三学生复习迎考的需要。本次修订后，全书共有18套高考英语听力模拟试卷，另配音带3盒。书中的听力材料由专为英语听力灌音的语音专家朗读。书后附有全部练习的参考答案和音带文字。参加本书编写的都是重点中学长期在教学第一线工作的骨干教师。希望修订后的本书能帮助高三学生在高考中取得良好成绩。
