内容概要

本书介绍了中国的历史文化、风土人情、旅游圣地和民间传说，使来访的外国朋友更好地了解中国、学讲中国话，同时，享受最佳的假期或成功的商务旅行。    该书主体内容分三部分，其中，第二部分包括中英对照的句型和对话，但其他部分又绝非单纯的中英对照。文中所选词语简短实用并附有拼音，便于读者在较短时间内学会讲一些中国话。书中较为详尽地选出中国各省市的名胜古迹（共250多处），并附旅游路线和旅游示意图供参考；编录了历代王朝和现代各个历史时期的重要人物和事件；介绍了中国古代伟大的思想家和诗人，还收集了全国各地的名菜，东西方文化差异等。因此本书内容丰富，知识面广，值得阅读与欣赏。
