　　The first World Mathematics Team Championship is inaugurated today. Allthe young Math lovers， Mathematical workers and distinguished guests will wit-ness this meaningful event. From this time on， there will be a new member in thefamily of International Mathematics Competition.　　I'd like to introduce the idea of establishing this competition as follow.　　1. Mathematics without Borders， it is the common cultural wealth of man-kind， learning math will benefit us for a Lifetime.　　2. Children and youngsters are the future of the world. We should encouragethem to study mathematics in the course of their growth.　　So there are three feature of the World Mathematics Team Championship.　　1. We encourage the competitors should give full play to their intelligence，and learn to cooperate with the others.　　2. The competition can promote mutual understanding and communicationbetween the young and help them establish friendship.　　3. We should give a fair， positive and encouraging appraisal of each partici-pating team and every participant.　　The three characteristics determine WMTC to be different from any other in-ternational mathematics competitions.
