　　这是一本旨在提高医科大学学生、医生临床英语交流能力的参考书，由美国纽约中华医学基金会支持出版，全书包括了呼吸、心脏、消化、肾脏、内分泌、血液及风湿免疫共七个科室的查房内容。采用中英文对照的形式，便于读者阅读和学习。 　　各章内容包括早晨交班、上午，查房、下午查房和夜间查房四个部分。每部分又分别从查房主要内容、查房重点和情景对话等方面记述。情景对话是本书的一大特色，旨在从实用角度出发，为读者提供医生与病人、医生与实习生以及医生之间最常用的对话。     此外，本书由多年从事临床英语教学的教师执笔，并由美国医生多次校译，保证了书中英文的准确和地道。可供临床医生、医学生以及准备出国的医务人员学习参考，同时也可以作为医学院校双语教学的教材。
