•   对于基督教发展的历史背景和重要事件做了精辟的叙述。尤其对于基督教与其他宗教和势力的冲突，以及基督教内部的冲突和发展的历史线索的介绍，很有助于对该宗教发展的了解。对于基督教教义和众多的教派的出现的历史原因，豁然而解。虽然是英文，文字并不晦涩，值得慢慢品读。
•   这本书线条清晰，读起来通俗且易懂，还可以提高英文阅读水平！
•   因爲時英文版，讀起來有點生澀，但是還是適合又耐心的朋友閲讀和思考的
•   適合喜歡並研究宗教哲學的朋友閲讀
