前言

　　2005年我们根据“就业导向”、“能力本位”等新的职业教育办学理念，针对中等职业学校学生的实际状况，编写出版了适应学生需求的“职业英语”系列立体化教材。2009年1月教育部颁布了《中等职业学校英语教学大纲》（以下简称《大纲》）。当前我国职业教育的办学方针、指导思想、人才培养模式、知识体系和技能要求等都已经发生了变化，职业教育应培养学生的关键能力、技能迁移能力、职业意识和终身学习能力，以满足用人单位对从业人员的学习能力、合作能力和自我行为控制能力的要求。为了应对这种变化，《大纲》在总目标中提出使学生“初步形成职场英语的应用能力”，并从语言知识、语言技能、情感态度、学习策略与文化意识等五个维度对目标作出描述。将课程教学内容分为“基础模块（必修）”、“拓展模块（任选）”和“职业模块（限选）”三个部分，其中“基础模块”强调培养学生初步的英语应用能力；并从教学内容与要求、教学安排、教学实施、教学评价等方面详细阐述。根据《大纲》中“基础模块”的教学内容与要求，结合自“职业英语”系列立体化教材出版以来收集到的中职学校师生的反馈意见，我们特修订了本套教材，以期更符合目前我国中等职业教育对英语课程教学和英语教材的新要求。
